Don’t Give Up on You

Disappointment is inevitable. Giving up crosses our minds.

My job is always finding silver bullet solutions to problems; and this is just another one. We’ve all seen many motivational content that relies on change of perspective – and it is true – part of it. I’ll probably be referencing some of that content below.

However, at dark times, we become less lucid and practically drowned in despair. All of that motivational content feels that it does not apply on us. And that may probably be true because they ask for self-reflection, self-help and self-empowerment – and we are probably already drained out for that. Add some futility mentality and you have a formula for disaster.

On with the quest for the formula to counteract that:

There’s more of you – and I don’t mean just inside but also outside – scattered, waiting to be discovered, called, united, harvested. In this greater sense, it’s not a personal effort – it’s a communal one and beyond the realm. Holding on is honoring both this universal effort and self. In practice, this provides instant relief and meaning in everything you are, everything you do and everything you believe in.

A more deeper view on this coming soon.

Currently busy with the physicality of things developing “the Operator Foundation”.

Innovation, Breakthrough and Perseverance

The Struggle is Real, honey.

Earning a Living

Nobody can deny the daily need to make ends meet. Even in these modern times of automation, comforts and services, Survival does not seem to be becoming outdated any time soon, at least not in this lifetime. Money, being the current medium of exchange, becomes for this reason important – without it, you can’t really buy or sell; sounds familiar?

WORK, WERK, WERQ

To enable that stream of income we need to work; and by work I mean serving clients and providing solutions – not just successfully but also in good time. If a solution is not provided within a specific span of time then the pace of progress and cost of living catches us up and we are at a loss. Without certain profit we cannot grow; not really. We are just working.. to keep on working.

And now the question..

What about progress?

Research and Innovation

Let’s face it; if we all relied only on existing technologies and solutions there would be no progress.

Same old, same old.

Forget your iPhone, forget your computer, forget your car, forget your stove, forget your electricity, forget your toilet (paper), forget your shower, forget your house; hey, you know what (?), it’s cave time!

It’s funny how some people brag about using ready made stuff to create or provide their ideal solutions, and to be more specific in my science’s sect, plug-ins, libraries and/or frameworks, but when it comes to investing time and money to research, innovation and customization, resistance begins. Basically, those people are living off innovation while they do not support or even scorn at the innovators who need dedicated context and resources to experiment and actually do their job right.

The hypocrisy is borderline nauseating.

the Right Context and Resources

Research and Innovation need a dedicated context and resources – meaning time and money; Period. Yes, it is (sort of) a risk, but it’s not just for fun, although it can be really fun if you want to. It is for progress which can potentially lift off the entire way you work (see my definition of work above) or even live to new levels of simplicity, productivity, maintainability, success rate and delivery time.

Tip: I claimed that right context and resources by becoming a freelancer; and let me tell you:

It was all worth it.

Research and Innovation.. on the fly?

It’s a whole new subject to expand on which I will be talking about on another article. To explain where I stand, with it, in one short sentence..

Painful, Agonizing and Slow

Nobody likes that.. even in death.

A Day in the Library is Months in the Laboratory

Studying the right material can boost or even salvage our research and innovation process. Getting educated on historical experiences related to the modules of our research and innovation enable us to incorporate, adjust or even avoid techniques to assist the process as a whole.

Questioning that Wheel

Look, I am not saying reinventing the wheel is a good practice or not but still, it is only when you know how to build a wheel that you can really see things outside the box and seek improvement in seemingly complex things that inherently feel that they should be simpler. And that is just one example of a hunch.

Wheels? What about hovering..

Perseverance

Perseverance will keep you going when you start doubting that something is possible. Of-course, retrying is only good when you reevaluate the way you approach a problem or possible solution but it’s the gut feeling or hunch that won’t let you rest until you make it. Yet, don’t let every retrial go to waste. You can document it and try to make something valuable out of it..

Innovation is not an explosion; it is a Ladder.

Tip: Perseverance is one of the cornerstones of my upcoming the Operator Foundation framework.

Breakthrough

Once you are there, at the moment of breakthrough, all sacrifices will make sense and all the hard work will pay off. Those who supported you shall enjoy along the fruits of the process and those who did not.. guess what; they will want a piece of that pie too like good old hypocrites they are.

Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me [..]’

Oh wait.. I did it again, didn’t I? Sounds familiar?

Hungry for more?

Here. Eat it!

Hello World, you are Mine!

Hey there fellow.. citizens of the Earth!

This is my first blog entry so I won’t be trying anything fancy.. yet..
Oh, apart from the fact that.. the World is Mine! Now, how vain did that sound, or should I say read – seriously? I am now officially a member of the internet society, and hopefully soon useful, who does give a buck and wants to place his very own little stone, or turd depending on how this will turn out, on the great mosaic of this virtual world. And lemme tell ya: It feels great, because.. well.. first of all I am doing just that – it’s a start. It’s also exciting because this is the closest thing to a Sharing Hub of Myself I’ve ever had this far.

Yes, this is how I imagine this place of becoming – a Sharing Hub of Myself.
No, my YouTube account doesn’t count because it’s strictly videos and that’s just one type of resource and not a unifying place of my identity. Let’s not mention my really sloppy 2nd channel – link definitely.. will not be provided.
And again no, neither does my Google+ account (would it be disrespectful to type it as just G+ the first time I mention it in a post?) because although I am so-y digging it, still I find its posts just like post-its. And for those lengthy ones, honey, no, it’s just a really really.. RRReally long post-it. 🙂

Shish, I have to figure out how to express myself in this space because I can hear what I say within my head but I am not sure it’s coming out pleasantly on.. paper.. I mean.. your screen.

So, right now, my thoughts are all over the place so I’ll just settle with letting you know that I am taking the simple advice of “Don’t think a lot about it. Just go ahead and Blog!”. Well, it’s happening. Yeah, I am That type of person who can’t get something out there until it looks great.. let me correct that.. perfect – at least to me.. and that measures up to being trrruly perfect.. no, no, kidding.. really.. but it Is a sad, sad, sad little story – the imperfect perfectionist. Oh, I know; that’s how I should call this site. Let me see.. Oh, wait: http://theimperfectperfectionist.com/ – it’s already taken – bummer. In any case, I can thank (God and) the internet technology and society that we can edit, review and delete so that I feel comfortable knowing I can go back and refrain somewhere things have gone terribly, horribly, no good, very bad.. wrong.

You know, thinking about it right now, this post could actually become a nice little template for blog newbies, who have absolutely no idea what to write about on their first post.. Yeah, that’s it. Just copy / paste it and replace the links. It says nothing about me, really, if you notice it; just stating that I have just arrived and I am so-y excited. This post could very well be a copy / paste from the original post template called “Introduce Yourself Unimaginatively.PostTemplate”.

Enough! Just start blogging or vlogging or whatever it is you like + gging. Spread out yourselves (wait, that didn’t come out right.. but who cares), your love, it’s fun, it’s liberating.. it’s probably going to get you in trouble.. it’s awesome! 🙂
